Target Score

Individual: 7-12 pointsDefault is 10. 7 for shorter games, 12 for longer games.
Team: 10-15 pointsSet total team points needed to win. Default is 13.

Map Generation

FixedResources, numbers, and harbors are all fixed. Great for beginners learning the rules.
Classic RandomResources randomized, numbers follow fixed sequence (5,2,6,3,8...) spiraling from edge. Only starting corner is random.
Balanced RandomBoth resources and numbers randomized. However, 6 and 8 are distributed across 4 non-sheep resources and never adjacent to each other.

Terrain Distribution(except Fixed map)

Resources with 3 tilesNormally 4 tiles each, but 2 selected resources have only 3. Default: Brick and Ore.

Dice Roll

NormalRandom dice roll each time (can result in uneven distribution)
Card DeckDraw from a deck of 72 cards (all dice combinations ×2). Reshuffle at 12 or fewer remaining. Ensures statistically even distribution.

Friendly Robber

ON / OFFWhen ON, players with 2 or fewer victory points are protected from the robber. A beginner-friendly handicap.

Robber Protection(Individual only)

ON / OFFWhen ON, a player who was robbed cannot be targeted again until the next 7 is rolled.

Team Assignment(Team mode only)

RandomTeams randomly assigned at game start
ManualHost arranges teams via drag & drop in lobby

Timeout Behavior

When the time limit is exceeded, the following automatic actions are performed.

  • Initial Placement: Settlement and road placed at random positions
  • Dice Roll: Dice rolled automatically
  • Robber Placement: Robber moved to a random position
  • Robber Steal: Random player is robbed
  • Discard: Resources discarded randomly
  • Main Phase: Turn ended automatically
  • Trade Response: Proposal expires
  • Road Building: Card usage canceled and card is returned

Notes

  • When "No Limit" is selected, all timers are disabled. Trade proposals also have no expiration.
  • When a player disconnects, their timer is paused. If they reconnect within 30 seconds, the timer resumes with remaining time. Otherwise, AI will automatically take over their actions.
  • When using a Knight card, the main phase timer is paused during robber placement and steal phases. After the robber flow completes, the timer resumes with the remaining time.
  • When using a Road Building card, the main phase timer is extended by the road building time limit.
