1.What is Solo Play?
Solo Play is a mode where you compete seriously against AI characters. Results are reflected in your rating, letting you track your improvement with numbers.

2.How to Start
Solo play is available as soon as you log in.
Select 'Solo Play' from the dashboard
Choose an AI strength tier (Beginner to Expert)
Opponents are automatically selected and the game begins
Your rating updates based on the result
Leaving mid-game counts as a loss. Once you start a game, play it through to the end.
3.AI Characters & Strength Tiers
AI characters are divided into 4 tiers by strength. Higher tiers result in larger rating changes.
★Beginner
AI using basic strategies. Recommended for first-time players.
Pebble, Breeze, Moss, Drift, Cinder, Clover
★★Intermediate
Balanced AI that considers resource management and build timing.
Spark, Forge, Brook, Ripple, Frost, Turret, Sprout
★★★Advanced
Strategic AI that evaluates optimal placement and negotiation.
Dusk, Pixel, Sage, Nova, Flare, Raven
★★★★Expert
The strongest AI pursuing the best move in every situation. A challenge for top players.
Scout, Coral, Ember, Viper, Ideal
Choosing a strength tier randomly selects AI from that tier. You can also manually pick specific characters.
4.Rating System
A solo play-specific rating quantifies your skill level. Based on the OpenSkill algorithm for fair evaluation.

5.Solo Play vs Practice Mode
There's also a practice mode for casual play. Choose the right mode for your goal.

6.FAQ
What happens if I quit mid-game?
Leaving mid-game is recorded as a loss and your rating will decrease. We recommend playing each game to completion.
How do the AI strength levels differ?
Beginner uses basic strategies, Intermediate is balanced, Advanced uses sophisticated judgment, and Expert pursues the optimal move in every situation. Higher tiers mean more refined AI decision-making.
Can I reset my rating?
There is currently no rating reset feature. Your rating will converge to match your actual skill level as you play more games.
Can I pick AI characters in practice mode?
Yes, in practice mode all AI characters are available regardless of your rating. In team mode, you can also assign specific characters as allies or enemies.
Can I add AI to room matches?
Yes, you can select and add AI characters in the room match lobby. You can auto-select by strength tier or manually pick specific characters.
